By some amazing coincidence I photographed a Rufflets Hotel wedding two days in a row at the end of June! Ashley and Ryan’s wedding was the second wedding there that weekend and they too planned everything from abroad as they emigrated to Australia several years ago. I was able to meet Ashley and Ryan in person a few days before their big day to chat through some of the details. At this point I just knew their day was going to be fantastic. I was even more excited when they mentioned Ryan’s Mum had organised a large 15 piece pipe band to play at their wedding!

Ashley and Ryan were staying in two separate lodges within the hotel grounds on the morning of the wedding. This was ideal as I was able to go back and forth between them both to cover the preparations on both sides. Despite some dark clouds overhead they decided to go ahead with having their ceremony outside in the beautiful lush grounds at the foot of the hill. It was an amazing sight watching the pipe band come over the hill and down the path while playing, followed by Ryan and the boys and then Ashley and her Dad! I think it would be hard to top that entrance!!

The day was perfect and I really enjoyed being there to capture the celebrations. Below are a few shots which I feel sum up the day, all the best for a happy future together guys :-).
