I took a little break from blogging while peak wedding season was in full swing to concentrate on editing but I thought it was about time I blogged Amber and William’s fun Savoy Park Hotel wedding. Ever since their pre-wedding shoot at Polkemmet Park I had been looking forward to the main event of their wedding!

Amber is definitely not your average bride!! She’s an Australian chick who plays the bagpipes professionally and decided to have pipermaids instead of bridesmaids…on top of this she decided she was going to pipe herself down the aisle accompanied by her Dad who also plays the pipes as a surprise for Will!!!  So in addition to the normal things a bride has to do to get ready she also had to tune up her pipes for a while before the ceremony! It was all well worth it to see Will’s amazed face when Amber and her Dad entered the ceremony room :-D. It was such an amazing entrance! The original plan was to have the ceremony outdoors but the weather had other ideas so the ceremony was held indoors instead, this didn’t dampen anyone’s spirits though! After dinner the rain stopped and the sun came out so we were able to jump in a taxi and head to a nearby beach for some romantic couple shots.
