When I arrived at Solsgirth House to photograph Leanne and Steven’s wedding it was a beautiful sunny day. The plan was to have the ceremony outside in the open air to make the most of the glorious weather. After spending some time photographing the details and Leanne getting ready the weather seemed to cloud over. The guests were seated outside and Leanne was just about to walk down the aisle when the rain came on! Impeccable timing…but it was ok because luckily the indoor ceremony room was all set up so after a quick change of plan everyone moved inside!! Regardless of this small hiccup the day was fabulous, the sun soon came back out and guests were able to mingle on the lawns. I enjoyed taking candid shots of people enjoying themselves. Solsgirth House is a stunning venue with so many great photography opportunities, both inside and out.
