Laura and Mark tied the knot at Mission Hall in Shotts on one of the hottest, sunniest days of the year. After the lovely ceremony we headed through to the Hilcroft Hotel in Whitburn for the reception. The room looked fantastic with all the beautiful table decorations, a lot of thought had obviously gone into it. After the group and couple photographs the guests were ushered through for a receiving line followed by speeches. The speeches were great and once they had finished everyone began tucking into dinner thinking the hilarity had ended!! How wrong could they be! Just as the main course was being served two of the waiters burst into singing opera songs!!! It had to be one of my best moments at a wedding so far! The look of surprise on everyone’s faces was priceless as only Laura’s Dad knew what was in store!! Such a fantastic entertaining idea, I’d never seen anything like it before :-)!
