I was so excited when Ian emailed me to ask if I could photograph his surprise Edinburgh proposal! Him and his girlfriend Hatton were flying over from the US for their Summer holiday and he thought it would be the perfect time. The plan was for me to photograph him proposing to her on the top of Arthur’s Seat! Unfortunately on the day the main road which goes partly up the hill was completely closed which meant I had to hike up from the bottom with my big heavy camera bag!! I captured the beautiful moments just after Ian popped the question and then lots of romantic couple photos around the hill. Such lovely moments for me to capture and for them to look back on over the years.
