Natural family photography Edinburgh

I met up with this lovely family a couple of weeks ago for their natural family photography session. Andrew had been given a session gift voucher from his Sister for his birthday. They chose to have photographs taken at South Queensferry near Edinburgh so we were able to get the dramatic Forth bridges in the background. We also visited a few other nearby spots and found some amazingly bright Autumn colours to use as a photogenic backdrop. I think it’s safe to say that although it was a chilly day everyone had lots of fun!

Family photography shoot in West Lothian

Earlier this month I met up with Josh and his Mum and Dad for their annual family photography shoot in West Lothian. We went to Polkemmet Country Park, near Whitburn in West Lothian for the shoot. I tsome lovely shots of Josh playing in the play park as well as plenty of family shots at several different locations in the park. This was the third year in a row they chose me to capture some images for them :-). It’s so nice to see how much Josh changes each year.

You can see last year’s session here and Autumn 2011 here!

Family photos in Edinburgh

I recently took family photos of this beautiful family in a wooded location in Edinburgh. I love the vibrant Autumnal colours in these woods. At the time of this photo session Jennie was expecting her baby very soon, everyone was very excited especially Megan who was looking forward to becoming a big sister :-). A lovely special time to take these family photos in Edinburgh.

Natural Portraits in Edinburgh – Mini Session

Meet little Elizabeth, isn’t she adorable!! I photographed her as part of the Autumn half hour mini-sessions I’ve been running. The rich colour of the trees in this woodland area in Edinburgh is beautiful and as it’s Autumn I had to get some pumpkins in on the act! Elizabeth is such a happy, smiley little girl and I had lots of fun taking photos of her :-).

Natural Baby Portraits in Edinburgh – Alfie’s Mini Session

I recently photographed gorgeous baby Alfie at a quiet wooded spot in Edinburgh. As we’re now in the middle of Autumn the colour of the trees is amazing, I wish it could be like this all year round! Alfie was a little star, a little sleepy at the beginning but didn’t take long for him to wake up and be a great little model for me. I love the natural portraits of him and his Mummy <3.

Autumn Mini-portrait sessions in Edinburgh & West Lothian

3 days , 3 locations, 3 packages!

Mini Session Edinburgh

Would you love to have some beautiful photos of your family? A mini session is a perfect opportunity for you to get some! I am holding mini sessions in the October school holidays with glorious Autumnal colours as the backdrop.
*Also suitable for babies over 6 months, children, couples

A mini photo session is ideal for you if:

  • you are wanting to try out outdoor lifestyle photography for the first time
  • you want to buy the session as a present for someone special (I have gift vouchers available)

A full standard session would be better for you if:

  • you have more than 2 children
  • any of your children are particularly shy or wary of strangers. A full session would allow more time for your children to warm to me and relax
  • or the opposite, any of your children are a little hard to tame! If you don’t think your child will sit still for a second then it’s probably best to book a full session!

What can we expect?
I’ll photograph you all having fun together and I will also spend some time individually with your children and get a variety of different shots. If you just want photos of your children and don’t want to be in them yourself, that’s absolutely fine as I will then spend the mini session photographing your little ones.

How much are the mini sessions?
I’m offering three different packages to choose from. You can upgrade after the session if you wish. You are also welcome to order additional prints and products from the online gallery but you are under no obligation to do so.

What if the weather is bad?
If it is raining then I will reschedule to another day during the October school holidays. If that is wet too then I will refund your deposit or you can choose to put it towards a full session with me.
