I photographed Cheryl and Craig’s lovely wedding just over a year ago. Time has flown since then and it doesn’t seem like that long ago! On the day I started off by photographing the girls who were getting ready at the opulent Dakota Hotel and then travelled down the road to Priory Church in South Queensferry which is a lovely, atmospheric place. To make the ceremony extra special Craig and Cheryl’s friend conducted the ceremony! He did a fantastic job especially considering he’d never done anything like that before. After the ceremony I took some couple photos around the harbour at South Queensferry while the guest made their way to the stylish Balbirnie House wedding reception. Cheryl and Craig were relaxed in front of the camera as they’d had a pre-wedding shoot on Inchcolm Island a few months beforehand so knew what to expect. We then made our way to elegant Balbirnie House to join the guests who were enjoying the drinks reception! It was a lovely, fun day and I really enjoyed being there to capture it all.
