It’s hard to believe Andrea and Alistair’s beautiful House for and Art Lover wedding was last November, I remember the day like it was yesterday! The last year has gone by in a whirlwind for me, with three house moves, the addition of a puppy daft puppy and a very busy diary packed with shoots and weddings unfortunately my blog was put on hold to concentrate on more important matters such as shooting and editing!! I am hoping that during the quieter Winter months I’ll be able to blog a lot of the wedding I photographed over the last 12 months.

These two are such a lovely, warm couple and treated me more like a friend than a photographer. Constantly smiling and happy they were a delight to photograph and really made my job easier! It was a typical cold, dark Wintery day and after the ceremony we only had a very short window of opportunity to make use of the natural light. I was keen to make use of the light while it was there as the grounds are so lovely. We also used pretty Bellahouston Park just next to the venue for some photos and amazingly there were still some brightly coloured flowers there which added a nice pop of colour.

After the official photos and drinks reception everyone hopped on a vintage big red bus to Sherbrooke Castle for the wedding breakfast and evening celebrations! Andrea and Alistair had provided dressing up boxes for the dancing and this proved to be a big hit and added to the fun. The fancy dress props seemed to bring out everyone’s mad side which made for some great fun moments!!
