Tipi wedding in beautiful North Berwick garden

Tipi wedding North Berwick

I absolutely loved photographing Manon and Otto’s beautiful, intimate tipi wedding. They tied the knot in a gorgeous tipi in Otto’s family’s beautiful garden in North Berwick, East Lothian. Manon and Otto live in Australia with family across the world so they actually planned two weddings with a small and intimate one in Scotland and a big wedding for all their friends and family in Spain.

As it was a fairly small, intimate wedding I was only there for a few hours to capture some bridal preparations until the speeches before the meal. It was a wonderful tipi wedding event to be a part of.

Manon’s outfit was beautiful and elegant, perfect for their day. I loved the long train-like part of her top. It gave her look such a lovely, floaty bridal vibe.

This tipi wedding was early June but being typical Scotland the weather was very changeable with wild wind and rain before the ceremony! Thankfully the rain cleared after the ceremony so Manon, Otto and I were able to take a short walk along to the beach. It was still windy and cold but I love the photos we captured of them on the beach. Then it was back to the house to warm up!

The dining room looked amazing with the pop of bright teal tablecloth and all of the lovely brightly coloured flowers, making Otto and Manon’s tipi wedding even more memorable.
