Moments like this are why I love doing what I do! Recently, I had the pleasure of capturing a surprise proposal photo shoot in Edinburgh. Congratulations to Aaron and Lexy !

Aaron got in touch a week before to organise this surprise proposal photo shoot. He already had a good idea of where he’d like to propose and how to keep things low key so it wasn’t obvious. Aaron was keen for it to be a complete surprise to Lexy so he told me he’d be standing at the ‘Stones of Scotland’ located in Regents Road Park on their way home from lunch out. I made sure to stand somewhere nearby but fairly inconspicuous!

It was so special to witness and capture these magic moments. I have to admit I had watery eyes when Lexy said “YES”.

Lexy was completely surprised when Aaron got down on one knee and her reaction was priceless!

Once the couple were officially engaged and had some time for hugs and kisses we took a walk to St Margaret’s Loch for some lovely couple photos.
