I was delighted to provide Francesca and Steve’s wedding photography at wedderburn castle. The day started with all the guests getting to know each other better by playing outdoor games including welly boot throwing, archery and clay pigeon shooting. It looked like lots of fun and a great bonding session even although it was a very cold day. I went outside for a few shots of the action before covering the girls getting ready. The ceremony was emotional and some of the personal words nearly brought a tear to my eye! It was made even more memorable by the amazing owl that delivered the rings. I knew it was going to be tricky to get some shots of the owl in flight as they move so fast but I was quick enough to get some good ones and then dived out the way as it flew back towards me!! The owl and his friend the bald eagle made a return later to entertain the guests while the group shots were being taken.
